Friday the 13th indeed!

So, we played a gig in Edinburgh on Friday the 13th. We knew we were tempting fate playing on that particular night, and we knew we were tempting fate playing Edinburgh after the last time. You see someone threw a pint glass filled with beer at me. Violence at a Camera Obscura gig! Can you believe it.
Anyway nothing like that happened this time thankfully. We had a good gig despite the sound on stage not being fantastic. The crowd were very kind so thanks for that. Yes, we were looked after by the students and non students very well. There was even tuna sandwiches, melon and sweeties included in our rider.
Dot to Dot were the support act and of course they were as handsome and tuneful as ever. I always get a thrill from Ally shaking his lovely arse. Don't all the girls?
Our pal Victoria from The Concretes came along for the ride and she cut mine and Tara's hair in the loo. That girl is scissor happy I swear.
Aye, it was a good night and as much as I've enjoyed telling you about it, I actually have an alterier motive for doing so. It would seem my acoustic guitar went walkabouts from the venue. So, I guess I am appealing for any info about that from anybody who might know something. It's a Fender acoustic and is fitted with a mimesis blender pick. There was also a tuner in the guitar case. So, if anybody's knows anything about this could you get in touch with us at our website please? We'd really appreciate it. I've got lot's of tunes in my head and I can't get very far without a guitar to write them on. Could be a problem.

Well Glasgow is a rock and roll city as they say. Live here and you too could suffer the mild embarrassment of queuing up to buy your underwear behind Aidan from Arab Strap in Marks and Spencers.
Aye, stick your cybeos up your arse. What a stupid spelling.
Happy New Year

Scrambled eggs

I don't have much to report, but that 'cool youl' blog seems a bit out of date now and is getting right on my nerves.
I'm home for lunch and if you're at all interested I'll tell you that I'm going to have scrambled eggs with cheese and cybeos (that's spring onions to you non Scots). Carey hates it when I call 'spring onions' cybeos, so no doubt when she reads this she'll be spouting off about how scottishisms get right on her nerves. You've got to love her.
What else can I tell you? Um, we're making a video this weekend for our new single. That should be fun. All I'll tell you about it is that we have a very special friend from Sweden over to help with it, and a very special friend up from Bristol to help out too. Can you guess who they might be?
What else? I'm really into the new King Creosote album KCRULESOk. Track 4 is brilliant and I've listened to it about twelvety times.
I'd better crack on with the lunch then.
